Reduction of Our Carbon Footprint


We have been paper free for 4 years, at Coleman Training Services Ltd we strive for a safe and clean environment and by running our courses paper free, this has hugely reduced our carbon footprint and that of our customers.


All our MHE courses are paper free, all course training records certificates, ID etc, will be on tablets provided by us, each candidates information will be recorded on individual tablets in pdf files.


With a lot of technological changes to modern business, we strive to be at the very forefront of the most modern training techniques and continuing change to our courses to ensure we provide real life experience gained from the business world.


Courses and content are continually updated, enabling us to keep the courses fresh, vibrant and representative of best practice throughout industry. In this way, we achieve a perfect fit between employer and delegates. There were further changes to the process of suppling certificates and ID cards, due to a high carbon foot print in the process of supplying plastic and paper certification/identity cards, we will now be further modernising the way we issue accredited certification, to match up with the candidate training records, the certificates will now be issued as e-certificates and photographic identification will be available in electronic format available to download as a PDF and on android or iOS smartphones.


Immediately after the course finishes, a report will be sent, allowing management/supervisors direct access to all parts of the individuals training covered during the course and the test results.


When the candidate has been registered onto the national data base, they will receive a personal registration number, this along with the candidate’s training records and a scanned copy of their certificate will be sent via email to the nominated person.


This has the advantages of securing data and ensuring there is no lost forms and double locking the GDPR we have already in place.

We have worked alongside our accreditation partners since the outbreak of the pandemic and have strived over the last few months to restructure training techniques and methods to ensure the safest possible environment for the instructors and delegates and to ensure easy access to the specific training requirements for front line companies and their staff.


We now have a number of different methods our customers can choose to implement in our training courses including - Social distancing, face coverings, gloves and cutting down candidate numbers per course. Using zoom, skype etc. to remotely cover theory sessions.


eLearning (for various machine types) is also available to reduce face to face contact time or to provide refresher training certificate extensions to those who are unable to attend an operator refresher course.


We are also very proud to say we are approved to tender and provide our services for the E.U. Scottish Government and all the 32 Scottish local councils, giving our customers that extra assurance for the high standards and quality assured courses we provide.


Our courses have been developed from the work experiences of our trainers and managers, thus ensuring that course content is practically orientated, representative of the best practice throughout industry and indicative of the type of real life scenarios delegates will come across in their working environment.
